Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst will assist in ensuring effective contract management, financial reporting, analysis, and budget maintenance. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of FP&A through comprehensive financial insights and management of complex financial tasks.

Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst will assist in ensuring effective contract management, financial reporting, analysis, and budget maintenance. This role involves strategic oversight of financial processes, driving the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of FP&A through comprehensive financial insights and management of complex financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Compile and submit state and federal reporting requirements via online portals, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This includes submission of budgets, actuals, and other contractual requirements.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Provide advanced financial analysis, offering strategic insights to management.
- Create and maintain financial statements for owned program P&Ls, providing insightful analysis on results and effectively communicating findings to management.
- Review program revenues and expenses related to owned P&Ls to ensure financial integrity and performance.
- Perform reconciliations and data analysis to guarantee the timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
- Budget Management:
- Lead the budgeting process, including development, maintenance, and analysis. Ensure effective use of financial software systems for budget tracking and reporting.
- Operational Support:
- Provide administrative support to the FP&A team, contributing to the smooth operation of the financial management processes.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking, reporting, and forecasting financial and operational performance.
- Strategic Decision Making:
- Engage in high-level financial analysis for organizational decision making and planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Audit experience (preferably with big 4) preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in guiding a team, with notable skills in providing support and fostering team cohesion.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards and experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with financial software systems, preferably experience with Financial Edge.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
Vacation & Benefits:
Work Environment/Physical Demands: The individual must possess the ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of up to or in excess of 50 pounds. A flexible working schedule with 5 days per week evening availability. Some working time is spent out of the office transporting children and/or parents to and from visits and observing visits in families’ homes or in the community (parks, libraries, restaurants, jails, etc.).

- Vacation: As a full-time employee working generally 35 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the Family Connections group benefit plans.
